The Program in Global Health Studies supports the interdisciplinary adjunct major and minor, and encourages student involvement in global health both in and outside of the classroom.
We provide a strong foundation from which students learn to think critically about global health challenges and practices. Students simultaneously explore core fields of global health such as infectious disease, bioethics, or mental health.
Global Health Studies students are required to study abroad in a program that offers a substantial public health experience. Credits taken while abroad can count towards the elective requirement for the Global Health Studies major or minor.
The Global Health Blog showcases the experiences of global health students and alumni attending conferences and doing research around the world.
